International day is a very important event in the life of an international school and our young students are just beginning to make sense of what internationalism means to them. Many of our students believe that Dubai is their home country, so we ask “Where do mummy and daddy come from?” And then we look at the colors of the flags from the home nations. To support our learning in school we would be grateful if you could help your child to create an international person to be displayed in our school. Many of our students may have dual nationality, if this is the case try to display something from each country. Above all, please enjoy creating your international person with your child and remember that the process of working together is much more important than the final product. Please return your cardboard template on or before Sunday, November 6th. |

We used our sense of sight by looking in mirrors at our faces. Then we painted what we saw. Come by KG1 and guess the picture your child created. Put your child's photograph next to the picture you think they painted. No cheating :)
This Thursday, the 20th of October is House Color Dress Up Day. We are looking forward to everyone showing their school spirit by dressing and/or accessorizing in their house color.
We used our 5 senses to explore the world around us. My classmates and I went on a field trip to Spinneys. We used our 5 senses to experience being in the supermarket and to explore its sounds, sights, scents, textures, and flavors. |
